and I'm coming home for christmas... I didn't get to go last year, so this feels like the most amazing blessing.
Plus my mom is coming to visit next week because of a crazy seat sale. Round trip from Vancouver for like $350... crazy? yes.
feeling a bit better about not working. going through flickr and looking at all my photos. Realizing that it's ok that I'm not pro, but I can still take photos regardless (especially because it makes me happy).

then we watched a movie that had mr. bean in it. I can't take him serious as an actor (rowan atkinson), thankfully this movie didn't require him to act seriously. I think it was called 'keeping mum'... weird weird weird

i went and saw his first home game. they won. eric played like 9 minutes.
i lost my job though, i caught her looking for a new nanny. oh well. I still have some part time work. I just have to look for some temporary fill in kind of stuff.
Shot apostle of hustle on thursday night at lee's palace. I really liked the openers, snowblink, but they asked for the lighting to be turned down, so my shots didn't work well. Plus, the new lens is amazing. I love L series!

Put Elmer’s glue all over my hands and peeled it off like it was my skin. I did this in front of my five-year-old and he lost his shit. IMMD.
Yesterday I told my dead-beat dad that no, we can’t be facebook friends. IMMD.
My 13 year old niece convinced my parents to adopt two kittens instead of one by means of a PowerPoint presentation. IMMD.

- I've been watching Boston Public, from the beginning. I downloaded it all, and oh man, it's great. Reminds me of Mrs. Poulin in high school
- Still jobless. Interview tomorrow, and I had one before, but yeah... getting desperate.
- i went to freedomize tonight and saw todd cantelon. it's been a long time... he called us toronto hipsters
- i like school supplies.
- i'll be camping three times this summer
- i heard a really good pirate story today. This little kid, he's two, and his mom put some pirate pyjamas on him at night, and in the morning he started screaming, and his mom said that he was afraid of the pyjamas.
- we're having a fondue party here on friday. it should be fun.
- i've been playing nintendo in my spare time. i have plenty of spare time, so yeah... i should probably be more productive with this time, but it's hard to be motivated.
- i need some dinner soon.
- Lisa the knitter, and I, will probably be hanging out tomorrow. We'll probably do some guest spots on each other's blogs. just for fun.
- the bathroom is kinda dirty. i should clean it.
- this episode of boston public has whitney houston in it. It's the season finale for season 3. i love this episode.
- another good show is called The IT crowd. here's one of my favorite clips from it.

also i called my grandma today. i've been busy and haven't sent her any postcards lately. i miss her.
oh, and i'm glad i'm not living in the basement portion of the building, as there was a robbery. someone stole all the laptops and ipods in their apartment. sucks.

when he does something bad (throws his bottle on the floor or whatever), he claps! to show that he knows he has done something bad and he likes it. smart kid!

i'm a nanny. i don't know if i ever posted that i got the job. i love it. certain parts are tricky, and i come home crying. it's kinda sad sometimes. but i'm doing a really cool mother's day present with the kids, although I have to think of something for my own mom...

- went to the zoo with eric today, andrea drove us and came with! it was great! eric has some sort of magic touch, where the animals will come closer when he calls them. weird, but made for some great picture opportunities.
- also had beaver tails! a canadian treat i believe... or maybe just an ontario thing, but very very good
- and tonight we'll go to the raptors game!
oh, things have happened in the past month as well.
- got the iphone
- new roommate coming in!
- eric's friends coming over for the night (from BC, eric was supposed to come too)
- gave my two week's notice at blacks!
- interviewed for a nannying job
- ate an entire tub of frosting (i was weak... )
- did other things randomly
it's been really nice to visit with my brother. i sure like having him around.

i worked today. but that usually happens everyday.
i've been meaning to do laundry for the past couple days, and i keep putting it off, every single day. it's getting bad.
today i swear, i think my roommate heard my alarm go off, and then ran to the bathroom, so she could use the shower before me. I didn't get to dry my hair, because she took like half an hour. I really didn't plan for that.
